HISTORY
The Stedfast Association, Singapore (SA) began as the Sure & Stedfast Club in 1935 when it was decided to have a club cater for old Boys of The Boys’ Brigade who have left the organization upon reaching the age limit. It was the brainchild of Mr. James M Fraser, the then Battalion President, who recognised the potentials of individual old Boys whose hearts were still burning strong for the Brigade work.
The Stedfast Club was only officially registered as a society in Singapore on 7 July 1969. It was at the 1983 BB Centennial Celebration in UK, that the name of The Stedfast Association was adopted to bear the common identity among all BB Alumni organisations worldwide. Thus, the name of the Club was changed to The Stedfast Association.
In 2014, the organisation was renamed as The Boys’ Brigade Alumni in Singapore to better reflect the vision and mission of retaining and engaging our alumni.
